When I began writing children's books I fell in love with the message behind the stories and the notion that they can make a positive difference in the lives of children and families.
I live in Burlington, Iowa, a lovely town filled with church steeples and hilly streets nestled in the Mississippi River Valley. I live with my wonderful husband Jim, and stepson Kevin. Being only three when I met him, Kevin and his brother became the inspiration for my stories for little kids about divorce.
Our ever-growing family includes adult sons, daughters-in-law and three precious grandchildren, Zoey, Payton and Baby Jude.
